Albany’s Bradford factory has recently had delivery of a new vertical machining centre, a Doosan DNM5700. The new machine has improved lead times by allowing more operations to be carried out in house and is proving a really worthwhile investment for our Bradford facility.
Many of the pumps made at the Bradford factory are available with short lead times. Good stocks of component parts are held on site and all the castings used are sourced locally.
Later in the year, Albany are considering further investment in the Bradford factory. The next machine will be a horizontal lathe.
