Albany Pumps recently supplied three of these vertical centrifugal pumps to an M.O.D. bulk fuel installation for transfer of AV-GAS across the site. They are direct replacements for pumps manufactured in 1986. The original pumps were in good order, but there was a requirement to upgrade their ATEX certification and the decision was made to fit new units. The new pumps also have condition monitoring sensors for bearing temperatures.
As we had all the original drawings and information, we were able to supply new pumps which fitted into the application without requiring any site modifications.
