International sales are a very important part of Albany Pump’s business, with our gear, screw and lobe pumps going to every one of the five continents. Around 50% of our sales go direct to customers abroad and a large proportion of our sales in the UK are to OEMs for products such as gas turbines which are also exported. As a result, far more than half of Albany’s Pumps do their duties outside the UK.Travel is becoming easier post covid and in the next few months we are planning visits to Italy, Spain and China. Also this year, we will be attending Interschutz (June 20th – 25th Hannover Exhibition Grounds) and Achema (August 22nd – 26th Frankfurt am Main) in Germany.
We are now back to a position where we can be anywhere in the world to train, commission and maintain all of our pumps within 48 hours of request – depending on where the requirement is.Albany Pumps: A proud international business exporting from the UK.
