Albany have recently acquired a new 3D printer to help with the process of making new products and modifications to existing products. It has started making new prototype parts immediately. These parts give all staff a chance to see quickly what new proposed products look like and get a feel for the parts, which can be difficult to get from a screen or a drawing. The machine will also be used for making parts for exhibition demonstrations. As soon as it started working, everyone wondered how we’d ever managed without it.
